Vincent Dame (1946-1995) was a Dutch visual artist and scholar fascinated by nature, fertility and life. This inspired his works of art, as well as his studies on popular traditions and customs. His objects and prints blend symbols reflecting the reproductive power of nature and female fertility and reproduction.
